A dull driveway or pathways somehow detracts from the overall aesthetics and attractiveness of what it once was. Many times clients regret using Bitumen as the choice of product for their situations as over time with wear and just weathering the shine and appeal of this surface wains.

This amazing product will seal lines, cracks, and voids. It also has the ability to prevent the ingress of water, reduce moss, lichen, and aggregate loss, and will immediately stop the deterioration process. The overall appearance of the surface will return to look like the day it was laid.

Application of Merlin Magic Black.

Ensure that moss, mould, and lichen growth is well treated before the application process. (Speak with Merlin regarding the correct moss kill application and product for this treatment). The surface must also be clean and free from all dust.

Weather conditions should be dry and ground temperature should be greater than 10 degrees. Merlin Magic Black can be sprayed, squeegeed, rolled or painted at a rate of 2-4m2 per litre depending on the surface texture.

It should be allowed to dry to a black tack free state before allowing traffic onto the coated area. A second coat mat be applied if required after the first coat has dried.

Merlin Magic Black is a rapid drying Water Based polymer Bitumen compound that seals and rejuvenates aged asphalt and macadam surfaces. Typical applications include carriageways, car parks, cycle paths, footpaths, and driveways. Merlin Magic Black seals fine cracks and voids in the surface course, preventing the ingress of water and fretting on the surface.
